CE Marking

The CE marking is a clear indicator of a product's compliance with EU legislation and enables the free movement of products within the European market.

From 1st July 2013 the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) replaces the EU Construction Products Directive (CPD).

From 1st July 2013, under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) it is mandatory for manufacturers to draw up a Declaration of Performance and apply CE marking to any construction products covered by a harmonised European standard.

The manufacturers Declaration of Performance is a document in which the manufacturer indicates that the product meets all the necessary requirements of the directives applicable to the specific product.
